Calvary Bible Church has gone from small storefront church to tremendous growth

The day is easy to remember. It was the morning after Georgia beat Florida in 2012. We walked into an old strip mall grocery store that had been turned into a church. That was our first experience with Calvary Bible Church. There weren't many people there that morning. But, you know what, we haven't left. Calvary spent about six years in that old Bi-Lo space, paying an escalating rent until we were able to buy an old church building on Tallahasee Road. There was some demolition and construction, but we moved in July 2018 and have been growing ever since.

We probably averaged about 80-100 people at our old space, but were up more than 200 most Sundays before the quarantine. It's a multicultural, multigenerational church that embraces everyone.
