Great food and fun — at home or on the town — is an integral part of life in Athens

Last Resort Grill. Donna Chang's. The National. These are among our favorite restaurants in Athens. That's not to mention Independent Bakery, Seabear, DePalma's, Gyro Wrap, Taco Stand and The Grill. Athens has a great food scene, especially on beautiful spring or fall evenings, when you can sit outside — The Royal Peasant in Five Points comes to mind — and enjoy the sights and sounds of our town.

And don't forget to swing by Condor Chocolates in Five Points for an amazing brownie, ice cream or coffee.

We love to eat out, but we've also entertained as many as 70 folks in our home. We prefer smaller gatherings with friends, family and UGA students. Eating with others has been a huge absence in our lives during this time.
