Charleston, Nashville, Seagrove Beach are among our favorite places to visit

Charleston. Nashville. Savannah. Seagrove Beach. They don't sound like exotic places for many, especially those who spend summers crossing European countries off their list or relaxing on a beach in the Bahamas on spring break. But for us, long weekend trips to places a little closer to home are a welcome respite.

I don't have many great photos of our trips, so what you see isn't a great representation of those cities. The first shot on the home page is more indicative of Seagrove Beach, just about a mile from Seaside, which is one of the most picturesque places on earth. At least to us.

We snuck away to Charleston in December and to Seagrove Beach for three days right before quarantine. The weather was great. There weren't many people there. And the food was amazing. As always. I look forward to the next trip.
