NMIX 7110 Portfolio

Coding isn’t my strong suit.

Don’t get me wrong. I love to see what can be accomplished with the right combinations, but getting there is the struggle.

I guess there’s a reason why I’ve spent my career crafting words, not crunching code or solving math problems like Will Hunting.

Despite my issues, this class instilled in me a deeper understanding of the power of javascript, CSS, APIs and Vue. They can do wonders for a website, from the appearance to the functionality.

My favorite assignments from this class included the animal slideshows, the trivia APIs, making an animated rocket fly across the page and my midterm and final projects, where I was able to mix sports with these skills.

I hope to continue to use — and maybe even build on — my newfound knowledge and skills after this program, but I know I have to practice to improve and challenge myself by building websites and experimenting with code.
